The Planting
April 22nd, 2022
Organized the saplings that were delivered to Knox and stored in their cooler. I placed colored and marked tape to help better identify the species and I created index cards with the information of each resident to help better facilitate the pick ups that were to be organized by Knox employees.
April 30th, 2022 and May 5th, 2022
I helped Diane, a senior citizen, plant two Sweetgum saplings in her back yard and one Northern Red Oak in her front yard.
Maritza, a fellow member of my parish, organized a spot to plant the Eastern Red Bud on church grounds with the pastor beforehand and I later helped her plant and decorate the tree.
